I have had a passion for photography most of my life. This web site contains some of my favourite photographs taken over the past 30 years. I hope you enjoy viewing the images.
My photographs have been published in a number of publications including Amateur Photographer, and Black & White Photography magazines, and in the Friends of Creative Monochrome and Irish Photography Yearbooks. My images have been included in many exhibitions including the Royal Photographic Society’s (RPS) Works of Distinction Exhibition in 2008, the RPS’s International Print Exhibition in 2011 and 2015, and the RPS Biennial Members exhibition in 2017. I was awarded the Gold medal in the RPS Digital Imaging Group Print Exhibition in 2020.
I developed a love of Black & White photography using film and the traditional darkroom. Black & White photography remains my preferred style, and my favourite themes are Architecture and Landscape. I have been an active member of my local camera club Bangor & North Down in Northern Ireland for 30 years. I obtained a Fellowship of the Royal Photographic Society (FRPS) in 2022.
